Annette Smith

This will be my 20th year teaching at Galmpton; I have taught in year 6 for fourteen of those years with a short break to have both of my children - I have loved my years working at Galmpton. Previously, I studied at the University of Reading towards my BSc in Environmental Science and later trained at Plymouth University to gain my PGCE. I then worked at a primary school in Paignton for a couple of years before joining the Galmpton family in 2004.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dogs (Mollie & Tom), hiking on Dartmoor and cycling. I am also a keen runner and I have completed a few marathons, including an ultra marathon a few years ago.
